Bad Momma is right. See, I have this problem. I find something that I like, and I totally immerse myself into the whole thing until I feel like I've completely checked it out. It could be as simple as a good book that I can't put down, or a STUPID movie I have to finish just to get to the end of the story and have some closure.
But blogging, is by no means simple. And over the last couple of weeks, I've been obsessed. I didn't even know what a hack or a widget was, much less any type of HTML code. In the middle of a hack, JC might ask me a question, and I'll cut him off.
"Hold up. Let me just finish this real quick." Can barely pull my eyes away from the laptop to let him know I heard him.

So, if anything, I've got to face the fact that I've been a tad... inattentive to some of my motherly and wifely duties. (Hmph. I can hear that coming out of my hubby's mouth. Punk.) And I figure why not start by airing out a list of why I'm a blogoholic (in no particular order, by the way) for my Thursday Thirteen #2:
Thirteen Things I've Neglected as a Newbie Blogoholic
1) Cooking dinner every night
I have NO problem with leftovers
2) Paying bills on time
Okay so I'm late on the electric bill - the lights still turn on, right?
3) Walking the dog
Oh, right... JC usually does that.
4) ABC's and 123's with Joel
Though we have some very nice educational DVDs that help ;)
5) Reading this month's book pick with my book club!
We meet next week - so you probably won't see much of me this weekend...
6) My mom (sigh)
I miss talking to my mom every day...
7) My hair... and my eyebrows!
Daaaaamn, girl - you better tweeze that sh-, them things!
8) Sleep
Five hours of sleep just... isn't... cutting it.
9) Work... yes, work
This flexible schedule due to working at home is my saving grace. Hours lost in the beginning of the week can be made up in the end. ;)
10) Jacob's afternoon snack
It's never too early to teach kids to serve themselves, is it?
11) My office. It's a disaster.
Some amazon shipments have come in and I have a few piles of paperwork lying around. But seriously, what's new?
12) Laundry
I finally washed a few loads, took them out, and uh, let Joe fold them and put them away.
13) And the number one thing I've neglected since diving into the blogosphere?
(Sigh) I hate to admit it. It's Skinny Ass. He HATES me being on the computer. For anything. Friggin' wifely duties, my a-
I think he just misses me.
So while I try to decide if I want to move from Blogger to Wordpress, update my graphics, figure out my layout and what I WANT it to look like, and whatever else - forgive me please. I will get there.
And while I'm at it - I have this annoying habit of editing published posts. Mostly because when you click "Publish" it lays out a
liiiiittle different than when you click "Preview." But still.
So. There we are. I can't be the only one who gets a little lost sometimes in this world of blogging. Please - let me know it's not just me? (Or I'll REALLY have to pay for it.)
