This week's Standing Ovation Award goes to...

Who’s Mad About Kids? That would be one of my first-ever bloggy friends, Michelle. I think I met Michelle thru Blog Catalog, and we both actually redesigned our blogs around the same time.

Here’s a bit of how “Mad About Kids” came into play:

I started writing “Mad About Kids” in early 2008 because I wanted to share my day-to-day life experiences with kids (my own, of course, but also other kids). I find children to be incredibly entertaining most of the time. Kids are also easy to love, and they make for great company. But, they can also be tremendously maddening at times. Writing this blog has not exactly been child’s play, but neither has it been headache-inducing donkeywork.

Michelle is a SAHM to 3 boys (ages 16, 7 & 5) and together with her husband, is working on opening an in-home childcare business. Isn't she brave?

This week's Standing Ovation Award is being presented to

The "Wat da Wat" blog is authored by a fellow Filipino, Chris Austria. I remember one of the first times I bumped into him - his layout caught my eye and especially those RSS buttons. Coolio!

A daddy blogger with a huge family, Chris never seems to be at a loss for material. He's quite thoughtful, and his posts are always so poignant and expressive. A regular commenter here at the Dance of Motherhood, his 2 cents tend to crack me up. Laughing out loud over here all by myself. :)

Adventures in Parenting

This week's Standing Ovation Award is being presented to:

Katy Lee is the author of Adventures in Parenting. I met Katy when I first started blogging in January, and she has been an incredible friend and inspiration. I tend to get caught up in my crazy busy schedule, and admit that sometimes, I need that extra "tug" to remind myself about what's important to think about as a parent.

There are always great ideas and eye openers that Katy brings to the table. Here's a quick preview to the drive behind Adventures in Parenting:

Since I am the perfect parent Even though I’ve made my share of
mistakes, I am quite proud that my children are turning out to be pretty “good” people who are growing in compassion, integrity, and character. They are the fruits of my 20+ years of labor - and you thought labor was just 20 hours!

I have four children, a boy and a girl in college, and my youngest is my daughter in junior high. My fourth child is my son in heaven with Jesus. He was 4 months old when he left this world. I look forward to reuniting with him one
day.

Well, I’ve nurtured my children through most of their “growing up years”, and still find that the best years are yet to come!

The job description of parenting will inevitably change as my children grow, but parenting never ends.

Lyssa Ireland Thomas is the author behind Fuse Moms. As a mom of 2 (ages 6 and 3), married for 15 years and working full time - life is never dull around this mama’s house.

When dropping in on her, Lyssa has a way of captivating your interest and drawing you in… rewarding you with either a tickle that makes you laugh out loud or a sentiment that tugs at your heart. ll of us here at the Dance of Motherhood (that would be me and the monsters) are in complete awe of the incredible talent and creativity we've come across here in the bloggy world.

We dove in about 3 months ago, and have been inspired by so many of you, we wanted to come up with a way to let you know that you've busted an "AT&T" on us.

Yes - you've reached out and touched someone. ;)

Maybe you posted something that made us laugh, or made us cry. Maybe you've commented here, joining in on our crazy dance. Maybe you've taught us a couple (or more!) blogging tricks. Or maybe we just straight up LIKE you.
