he term "documentary" does not give this film justice... The images in this film are so vivid... the emotions, so raw... someone sneezed onscreen and I actually caught myself whispering, "Bless y-."
In several poignant moments, I had forgotten about my tub of popcorn and sat motionless as I stared transfixed onto the screen, in awe of these resilient children tugging at my heart.
What worries do I have in my life compared to the hell they've lived through?
Still not convinced? Check out their Official Site and turn the volume up. I'd join you but I'm still counting my blessings over here...

About the Film from WarDance.org
by Jenni Robison
"War/Dance is a new documentary movie about three brutalized children of Northern Uganda and their dream of musical expression. The documentary is set amidst the violence of the Lord’s Resistance Army (L.R.A.), who kidnap sleeping children to abuse them and force them into rebellion and murder, sometimes even murder of their own families. Despite the horror, War/Dance has captured a beautiful story about the epic, unbreakable spirits of these children."
