This week's Standing Ovation Award is being presented to:
Katy Lee is the author of Adventures in Parenting. I met Katy when I first started blogging in January, and she has been an incredible friend and inspiration. I tend to get caught up in my crazy busy schedule, and admit that sometimes, I need that extra "tug" to remind myself about what's important to think about as a parent.
There are always great ideas and eye openers that Katy brings to the table. Here's a quick preview to the drive behind Adventures in Parenting:
Since I am the perfect parent Even though I’ve made my share of
mistakes, I am quite proud that my children are turning out to be pretty “good” people who are growing in compassion, integrity, and character. They are the fruits of my 20+ years of labor - and you thought labor was just 20 hours!
I have four children, a boy and a girl in college, and my youngest is my daughter in junior high. My fourth child is my son in heaven with Jesus. He was 4 months old when he left this world. I look forward to reuniting with him one
day.
Well, I’ve nurtured my children through most of their “growing up years”, and still find that the best years are yet to come!
The job description of parenting will inevitably change as my children grow, but parenting never ends.
